Becky Carroll

Becky operated a profitable vacation rental on her property on Gooch Hill Road in Bozeman. She also worked as operations manager for an estate management company where she learned how valuable real estate can be. After selling the Bozeman property, Becky purchased property between Belgrade and Manhattan that she is developing into a vacation rental and event venue.

Becky’s experience in the construction industry runs deep. She spent 9 years in the heavy equipment rental and excavation business. Becky handled all project planning, contract management and accounting. Becky was the cornerstone of the company, coordinating all aspects of operations: she managed a local 80-employee excavation company, coordinated all contract implementation from inception forward, developed logistics and managed all operational elements of the company to meet the accounting, equipment and HR needs of all projects.

Becky’s primary responsibility was implementing contracts and tracking work to secure payment. A key to her success in that role was maintaining positive client and vendor relationships while working through complex project requirements. Becky developed, managed and implemented all ongoing process-improvement measures which substantially increased the efficiency of the company’s personnel and equipment. These measures ultimately lead to improved responsiveness and client satisfaction.

Becky developed her logistics and planning skills as Rental Coordinator at T&E CAT Rental store. There she was managed the entire equipment inventory which supported many construction projects throughout Southwest Montana. Naturally adept at developing and maintaining productive supplier/contractor relationships, Becky was largely responsible for the success of the CAT store in the region. The relationships Becky created are still strong today in our resource-limited market.

Becky grew up working for Diamond G Rodeos, a famous rodeo company and doing ranch work with her father as a horse trainer on Sun Prairie Ranch. There Becky formed a life-long passion for horses and ranch-style living. She learned the fundamentals of ranch management from her father while doing her chores. Because Becky grew up spending a substantial amount of her time training, showing and working rodeo horses, Becky is uniquely qualified to understand what a ranch needs to succeed.

You can usually find Becky helping out local ranchers working the horses, sorting cattle, calving and branding . Becky is not afraid to get a little mud on her spurs. 

In 2020 Becky Carroll founded Swiftwater Management Group. She dreamed of creating simple solutions help ranch owners manage their property. Becky knows how to handle all day to day ranch management issues, from maintenance to expansion and even dissolution.
